Dr. Khoo Suan Phaik is a Professor of Oral Pathology & Oral Medicine at the School of Dentistry, International Medical University (IMU) and is also the Associate Dean since 2012. She is presently responsible for postgraduate studies and continuous learning. She obtained her Masters in the field of Oral Pathology in the UK, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow and PhD from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining IMU in 2008 she has been working at the University of Malaya for 20 years. Her clinical practice is restricted to the specialty of Oral Medicine and to diagnostic Oral Pathology. She has published widely and is an invited speaker in various local and international conferences. Her research interest lies in oral mucosal diseases, orofacial pain and regenerative dentistry.
