Wan Mahadzir Mustafa, Lau Shin Hin, Mohd Roslan Haron, Ng Kok Han: Central Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma Of The Mandible. Mal. J. Oral Maxillofax. Surg. 2006:4: 33–36.

Abstract: Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) comprises a small percentage of salivary gland neoplasm. Mandible is the commonest site for intraosseus MEC. Its rare occurrence often leads to clinical misdiagnosis of a cyst or benign odontogenic tumour such as ameloblastoma. A case of central mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the mandible is described. Theorigin, classification and management of the case are discussed.
