Herniation of the buccal fat pad: A case report
Stephen Joseph Royan: Herniation of the buccal fat pad: A case report. Mal. J. Oral Maxillofac. Surg. 2009; 7: 19–20.
Abstract: Traumatic herniation of the buccal fat pad into the oral cavity is an unusual occurrence only seen in children, hence often unrecognized. A case in a 23⁄4-year old girl seen three days after injury is reported to demonstrate the value of early recognition and treatment.
