Abstract:Two children in whom difficult tracheal intubation was expected werepresented for oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. We describe howanaesthesia was induced rapidly and safely by inhalation of sevoflurane using astepwise induction technique followed by the fibreoptic or conventional trachealintubation in these patients with limited mouth opening.
